Setting up menu items of the outlet

The details provided by you, while setting up these sections on QRkey systems reflects/displays on the customer interface as well. Hence, it is important to ensure that these details are accurate, error-free and qualify for client exposure.
Click Menu from the entity settings menu options to start setting up the menu items served at the outlet, and integrated with the QRkey systems. Outlets may have different menu items served at their restaurant depending on their type and size of operations.
- Click the
+add button on your screen - Start by filling up the item name and description in their respective fields
- Assign an item code to the dish that you are creating. Having an item code assigned to the dish helps you navigate and search the item faster on your POS during busy operations time
- Select the menu category and cuisine to which this dish belongs to
- Apply the Item type and fill in the base price for this item in your outlet. Base price is nothing but the section price which is cheapest out of all the service sections in your outlet
Example
An outlet with five service sections (AC Section, Non AC Section, Terrace, home delivery and takeaway) has Paneer Chilly priced at Rs. 250 in the AC and terrace section, 230 in the Non AC and Home delivery section and Rs. 210 for the Takeaway section. In this example. The item base price is Rs. 210 since it is the lowest amongst all the service sections of the outlet.

- Some outlets serve certain dishes priced as per their portion size. It is for dishes and situations like these that you select the price as per size response as

The portion size of a fish-based item preparation may vary depending on the size of the fish used. In situations like these, where portion sizes cannot be predefined, the option to price these items As per their size has been provided.
- Select and upload the image that you wish to assign to this item. This image would be displayed on the customer interface as well
- You can choose whether you wish to display this image on QRkey customer interface or not
- The item parent dish and quantity customisation columns should only be selected when you have a requirement for quantity customization on the dish
- You may wish to include a video for display on the customer app by adding the relevant YouTube video link
- Assign a sort order number to this item. Sort orders decide the display sequence in which items get displayed on the partner portal. E.g. If the sort order assigned to
Veg Pulavis 1, you will seeVeg Pulavlisted first on the portal followed by any other item with sort order 2 - Mark the menu item as active and click
